We Make It Easy to Begin Care at Roots Chiropractic

If you’ve been to a chiropractor before, you’re going to love our new patient onboarding process. And if this is your first time, welcome! You’re going to enjoy our relaxed, professional atmosphere.

Here’s what you can expect.

New Patient Paperwork

Once we reserve a day and time to meet you, we’ll email our admitting paperwork. Or you can complete it online. Then, print it out and bring it along with you. It’s easy to complete in the convenience of your own home. Plus, it makes your first visit with us a bit shorter.

Reserve about 30-45 minutes for your first visit to Roots Chiropractic.

First we’ll review your health history and the reason that has prompted you to see us. When did it start? What makes it worse? What makes it better? Our goal is to better understand you and get to know you better.

Dr. Brian asks great questions and he’s a terrific listener.

If yours is a chiropractic case, he will accept you as a new patient. If not, he’ll refer you to someone who he thinks can help you.

The next step is to assess your nervous system. We use state of the art technology to find patterns of nerve disturbance along the spine.

Our instrument detects temperature differences as small as a tenth of a degree. And electrical activity in spinal muscles of only a millionth of a volt!

Our scans are totally painless and non-invasive. You’ll come to appreciate their value.

In certain cases, with a clear roadmap of your nervous system, we can begin your care. If we need to correlate our other exam findings, we’ll want to wait until your next visit.

Reserve about 15-20 minutes for your second visit.

First we’ll review our exam findings. You’ll see copies of your scans and learn what they mean. Dr. Huisheere will offer his care recommendations and explain the financial aspects of your care.

Not only will you understand chiropractic principles you’ll be inspired by the possibilities.

Then you’ll receive either your first or second chiropractic adjustment.

With the initial procedures out of the way, a typical visit is less than five minutes. On each visit Dr. Huisheere will be noticing and noting subtle changes to your spine and nervous system.

Consistent Progress Exams

Plan on a rescan of your nervous system every 12-16 visits or 6-8 weeks.

These progress examinations are exciting milestones. Everyone looks forward to seeing the progress documented by his or her scans. These progress scans may prompt Dr. Huisheere to modify your visit frequency or make other changes.

Let’s get started. The sooner we do, the sooner you can put this episode behind you. Once and for all.
